For those looking to install a wine cooler underneath counters and flush with existing cabinetry without taking up a lot of space, choose the EdgeStar 18 Bottle Built-In Wine Cooler (CWR181SZ). This wine cooler is unique because it has a more space-efficient design than larger units, yet is still equipped with a front-venting compressor-based cooling system that gives you the power to use it for any application. And at less than 1 foot wide, this model will fit into any number of places. Use it in place of that old trash compactor that you never use, or replace those extra drawers that just take up space. The cabinet is fully finished in an understated matte black so you can let the unit stand on its own, and the stainless steel trim door features tempered glass with black dot-tinting to protect your wine from harmful UV light. The door can also be set up with a right- or left-hinging configuration to give you more options when deciding where to place it.You can store up to 18 standard 750 mL wine bottles in this cooler, across five (5) full-length wood-trimmed shelves and one (1) smaller wood-trimmed shelf -- all of which slide out to give you easy access to your wine.
